Willie T Broadnax Jr., 61, of Eden,NC died January 18, 2021. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Peatross Perkins Family Cemetery , 656 Tender Lane, Cascade, VA at 1:00 p.m.

Willie, the beloved son of the late Frances Scales and Willie Thomas Broadnax was born on December 22, 1959. Following a short period of illness, he departed this life on Sunday morning, January 18, 2021. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and a resident of Rockingham County for many years. He spent over 20 years of his life as an employee of UNIFI, INC and several years later spent the rest of his working years being a faithful employee of Deep Springs Country Club. Willie was a gentle spirit who loved his family dearly. He always carried a beautiful smile on his face, that we, his family all loved to see. To the world he was Willie, but to us he was Jr. Deeply, he will be missed and every moment we spent with him will be cherished forever. In addition to his parents, his sister, Wand Simpson preceded him in death.

Those who survive to cherish precious memories: his loving daughter; Geneva Broadnax and son, Damien Hairston, beloved sister; Monica Broadnax and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

I knew him as Willie---He was something else--always wanting to help -very friendly and always had a smile when you drove up at the club--I haven't been out to the club lately and it was so sad when I read about his passing--I will remember him as a friend and will miss the talks we would have almost ever time I played golf.-----Lloyd Baird
