I find myself speechless right now. I have too many emotions going on. So, I just want to offer my condolences to my brothers, Bishop and Robert, and to Rita's siblings and nephews. I am thankful for the 27 years with Rita as my stepmother. I am so appreciative of her. She always opened her home to me and allowed me to form a relationship with my dad.I know that it wasn't always easy for her. But Rita always tried to be the better person. I know that she is at peace with our heavenly Father and I pray that one day I will see her and my dad again.

I don't even have to express what you meant to me because you knew that... felt that... experienced that... and I knew you loved me because we had that type of relationship that didn't even have to be explained once understood. I'm going to miss you! You was always my voice of reason and always challenged me to see the brighter side to everything. Until we meet again, Kezia "Dee" Davis

To my family and friends of my big sisterRita: My wife and I were extremely sad to hear of Rita's death. Rita was not only my sister but she and her deceased husband were like my parents when I relocated to NY at 13 years old. Rita and Sony provided guidance that enabeled me to be the man I am todsy. Rita i loved you. Family was extremely important to you. You did everything within your power to assist others when needed. Compassionate, empathetic, kind are some of the adjectives that csn be used to describe you. To my two nephews Robby and Jr. Remember our mother is resting in the sweet arms of Jesus. As the good book says "crying may last for a night, but joy comest in the morning. Rest in peace Rita.
