Obituary For Margaret Mercury Anderson

Margaret Mercury Anderson, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2021, of natural causes. She was born in Brewton, AL on March 26, 1936, to Charlie and Esther Roberson. She was married to Kenneth Lamar Anderson Sr. and the mother of 4.

The viewing will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021, beginning at 1 pm at the Robinson's Friendly Funeral Chapel, 4301 Main Street, Moss Point. MS. The viewing will be followed by a 2 pm graveside service at the Macphelah Cemetery, Pascagoula, MS.

She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, 3 sons, and a daughter-in-law: Dorothy Mae McMillion, Kenneth L. Anderson Jr., Donnell Anderson, and Braxtus (Cynthia) Anderson.

She worked, for many years, at the Annex Restaurant. She was loved and respected by many members of the Pascagoula Police Department who often frequented the restaurant.

Margaret was an extraordinary mother!

She was one of the kindest and most generous people on earth. She was a gift from the God of Heaven. She would go out of her way to help anyone, never abandoned her children, and 99% of the time she had a very calm and loving demeanor.

She loved to laugh and joke around; even in her old age, she was young at heart and always eager to listen and anxious to help. She was loved by many and will be missed more than words can express
