Shirley A. Holloway

Knoxville - Shirley A. Holloway, age 66, departed this life on January 15, 2021 in Knoxville TN. She was born December 23, 1955 to James E. Holloway and Helen Holloway.

Preceded in death by both parents; Helen Holloway and James Holloway Sr., brother James Holloway Jr. & Step-brother Andrew Henry. Survived by children Shiawanna M. Griffin of Knoxville, TN and Helena "Bubbles" Griffin of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren Nya Griffin, Airehanna Griffin, Imani Mooney, & Isaiah Griffin all of Knoxville, TN. Sisters and brothers Angela Holloway of Murfreesboro, TN, Savanna Holloway of Knoxville, TN, Lillard (Jackie) Holloway of Knoxville, TN, Walter Holloway of Nashville, TN, & Robert Holloway Sr. of Knoxville, TN. Step-Mother Patsy Holloway of Knoxville, TN. Step-sister Yoshan Middleton and family of Knoxville, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be a Graveside Service held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Suffragan Bishop Kelvin Cash officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 3.pm. the day of the service at the Unity Mortuary Chapel to proceed to the Cemetery. Ms. Holloway will lie-in-repose on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 12 p.m.-5p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel. Due to Covid restrictions, the family respectively asks that masks be worn and social distancing be practiced. Unity Mortuary is honored to serve the Holloway, Griffin, and Middleton families.
