Obituary For Mr. John Christian

Mr. John Albert Christian departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 21, 2021. He was born on July 7, 1929 in Mt. Gilead, NC, a son of the late Henry Christian and Minnie Dumas Christian. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Argie Caldwell; seven siblings, Richard, Roosevelt, Martha, Mildred Christian, Minnie Carey, Rose Ann Robinson, and Carrie Newborn.

He was employed with Hayworth Panel Company of High Point prior to his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Argie Christian; two sons, Arthur Little of High Point, NC and Walter (Sherrilyn) Little of Thomasville, NC; three daughters, Diane (Lee) Eleby and Jeanette Reid of High Point, NC and Brenda (Thomas) Humphrey of Greensboro, NC; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Christian; one sister, Josephine Robinson of New Jersey; one special daughter; Mary (Willie) Warren of High Point, NC; other relatives and friends.

A private funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. Mr. Christian may be viewed on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
