Jamal Ahmed Jones, 37, of Greensboro, a native of Pamlico County was summoned to rest on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC.

A walk through viewing will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday at Oscar's Mortuary.

His service is 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 on Mt. Olive M. B. Church Grounds 9335 Hwy. 304 N, Mesic. The interment will follow at Broad Creek United Church of Christ Cemetery 3283 Straight Road, Oriental.

Jamal was a 2001 graduate of Pamlico County High School and continued his education at Lenoir Community College with an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts, Guildford Technical Community College with an Associate Degree in Information Technology and N. C. A & T State University attaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology.

He is survived by his parents, Gregory M. Jones and Vickie Moseley-Jones of Oriental; one sister, Charessa Sawyer, Atlanta, GA; his paternal grand parents, Floyd and Clara Jones of Mesic.

Masks are required. Chairs are limited, please bring a chair.
