To the Logan family, it is my wish to express my deepest sympathy to the family. Reverend Logan was not only my cousin but our pastor at Mt. Zion AMEZ church Montreat,NC. We loved her so much because she loved to visit other churches and she wanted Mt.Zion members to come along with her. That was so much fun for us. My family the Brown family( Simpsonville, SC) and the remaining members of Mt. Zion will miss her greatly. Love and comfort to the entire Logan/Miller family

To Dean and family, My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you during this challenging time. Saying good-bye is never easy but when you know God like your mom did, it surely makes it a whole lot more tolerable. We know that your mom knew the Lord and that she loved Him with her whole heart. She was a prayer warrior and a preaching saint. She didn't just talk the talk but she also walked the walk. I think her house was the first house I ever visited that had a Holy Bible in every room. I can remember times after visiting that she would make us all go down on our knees in the living room and call on the Lord to grant us safe travel and protection. Oh, I tell you, Reverend Sis. Velma Logan was one of a kind. I will always cherish my fond memories of her and the loving hospitality and care she showed me down through the years. My heart aches just to know that she's gone but at the same time I rejoice because I know in my heart that she was tired and only God could truly give her the "Rest" that she deserved. So, all I can say is "Servant of God, Well Done". I pray to meet her again when the Saints gather on the other side in Glory. I pray your strength in the Lord and I will always have a place in my heart for the Logan family. Be encouraged and my love to all. Rev. Willie J. Davis, Jr., Blythewood, South Carolina
