Obituary For Betty Jean Weaver Quinn

MRS. BETTY JEAN WEAVER QUINN- Age, 81 of Bronx, New York and formerly of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. She was born January 29, 1939 to the late Ezekiel Weaver, Sr. and Ollie Lee Dean Weaver. She was a member of the Dalton Eastern Star Chapter #230 O.E.S.-P.H.A. She was a member of First Corinthian Baptist Church of Harlem, New York and a former member of Liberty Baptist Church in Dalton. She was preceded by her parents, husband, David Quinn, son, Stan Weaver, and granddaughter, Shamika Lee Weaver.

She is survived by her loving and devoted family, children, Chief Apostle Bruce L. Weaver, Velina Weaver, Wayman Quinn, and Anthony Quinn; brothers, Ezekiel Weaver, Jr. and John Weaver; sister, Arnetter Weaver; grandchildren, Kelly Monique, Shannon, Bruce Jr., Corwin, and Jennifer Weaver and Shaunda Daniels; ten great-grandchildren and seven great great-grandchildren; godchildren, Tina Wiggs, Cherelle Barnhill, and Fabian Barnhill; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Following the guidelines of COVID-19, the family is enforcing that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Homegoing Service will be Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Weaver as Eulogist. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 12:00 P.M. Interment at West Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc.
