Obituary For Sandra Watkins

Sandra Byrd Watkins affectionately known as Sandy, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Sherman and Louise Byrd on October 2, 1957 in Key West, FLA. Sandra was predeceased by her siblings, Sherlyn Byrd Walker (Harry), Azelle Hunt and Sherman Byrd Jr. Sandra will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. As her spirit touched everyone she met. Sandy leaves her memories to be cherished by her fiancé, Donald Hightower (Portsmouth); three sons, Immanuel Watkins (Candice) of Suffolk, VA, Therman Watkins Jr. (Joni) of Clovis, NM and Shermar Watkins Sr. (Tamica) of Indian Trail, NC; eleven grandchildren, Lashella, Justice, Chyna, Quaevon, Tania, Kaleb, Azaria, Trinity, Michael, Shermar Jr. and Corey; three sisters, Yolanda Byrd Blount (Kenneth) of Windsor, VA, Cynthia Byrd Conner (Alton) of Jacksonville, FLA and Laurie Byrd of Lake Charles, LA; one brother, Andre Byrd of Portsmouth, VA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

My Condolences to Sandy's Family, she was my Friend. We attended Elementary through High School together sharing so many classes and memories. Sandra was Smart, Witty, Kind and a very caring person Though she is gone from this physical reality, she lives on with Us through the great experiences that GOD allowed Us to share. I leave with Revelations 21:4. I will miss my friend. Larry Hamilton
