Rev. Kyle Sylvester, Pastor of St. Mary Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Mallet leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Sabrina Levier of Lafayette, LA and Stacey Levier of Opelousas, LA; his significant other, Gail Jones of Port Barre, LA; two brothers, Herbert Mallet and David Mallet, both of Palmetto, LA; four sisters, Letha Hardy, Lonella Mallet, Brenda Guidry (Jessie) and Laura Charles (Wilton), all of Port Barre, LA; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Elijah Mallet, Sr. and Mary Savoy Mallet; two brothers, Elijah Mallet, Jr. and Alfred Mallet, Sr.; and three sisters, Bertha Jones, Marjorie Hardy and Carol.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
