The Obituary

Mrs. Gloria H. Williams was born July 13, 1950 in Quitman, Georgia to the late James Lewis Hollis and the late Betty Mae Hollis. She attended the Brooks County School system.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Jeffery Williams. She was a fun loving person that loved her family and friends. She passed from this earthly life on January 21, 2021. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, five beautiful children; Willie Fred Hatten, Jr. (Aline), Darion Hatten, Detrich Cason Mickens (Roger), Carla Axson (Darryl), Andrea Cason (Mack); one stepson Jeffery Williams, Jr.; three brothers, Robert L. Washington, James Hollis, James Simmons; three sisters, Irene Cason, Bertha Washington, Clara Cobb (Greg); mother-in-law Janie Williams; 31 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; special caregiver Jennifer Wilson and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by five brothers, one sister and one grandchild.

Graveside services will be Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 3PM at Francis Lake AME Church Cemetery in Lake Park, GA. Visitation will be Friday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 5PM-7PM.
