Our beloved brother, our heart and friend, Benjamin Edward Ingram, 63, went up to glory to finally touch the hem of his garment on January 29, 2021 at Hospice Home at High Point. Benjamin, better known as Edward, was born on February 17, 1957 to the late Benjamin Ingram, Jr. and Ailean B. Ingram. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara J. Ingram.

He attended Trinity High School and later UNC Chapel Hill graduating with a BA in double majors of Art and Education. Edward began his working career at Belk as their Display Manager, managing ten stores and eventually after 33 years retired due to his health.

He joined First Baptist Church Trinity at a young age. He always showed that he loved the Lord by walking the walk and talking the talk.

He leaves to cherish his memories two devoted siblings, Pamela (Raymond) Mobley and Kenneth (Marie) Ingram; one nephew, Eric Ingram; one niece, Brianna Mobley, all of High Point, NC; there are many beautiful aunts, uncles, and cousins who have loved and will continue to love his presence in their lives dearly.

A private funeral service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at First Baptist Church Trinity, 12504 Trinity Road. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. Mr. Ingram may be viewed on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
