MRS. CARRIE SUE KENNEDY – Age 90, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was born July 18, 1930. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was employed by Kroger as the head cook for many years. She is preceded by her husband David T. Kennedy, son, Don T. Kennedy, daughter, Ira K. Smith, father, Willie Young Hendricks, and mother, Elnora Carter.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Sue White of Cartersville, GA; sons, Donnie (Patricia) Kennedy of Dallas, GA, Dennis (Shelia) Kennedy of Cartersville, GA, Dale (Ann) Kennedy of Jacksonville, FL, and David Tyson Kennedy of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Laura Jean Montgomery of Fredericksburg, VA; brother, Rev. Rudolph A. (Barbara) Hendricks of Charlotte, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1:00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 147 Jones St, Cartersville, GA, with Rev. John Lampley, Eulogist. She will lie in state at the funeral home Friday after 12:00 Noon. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.
