Obituary For Dr. Andrew Roberts

Dr. Andrew G. Roberts Jr., passed away on January 25, 2021. Andy (Doc) was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Andrew and Ann (Lishack) Roberts. He graduated from Neville Island High School and continued his education at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, the University of Pittsburgh and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Andy is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years Roselynn (Chrillo); son David Roberts (Amy); daughter Ali Hicks (David); brother Roy Roberts (Patty); grandkids Ian and Hannah Roberts, Beau and Austin Brazzeal, bonus grandkids Brittney Richardson (Cody), Brandon Hicks and many other loving relatives, friends, colleagues and ballplayers. Andy loved fishing but wasn't great at catching, was a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler fan, an amazing storyteller, great coach, skilled team doctor, softball player and dog lover. Andy will be remembered for his kind and giving heart, his love of family, the friendships he maintained with the guys he grew up with and those he went to St. Vincent with, his dedication to his patients and in the chiropractic community and the impact that he made on those he touched through his diverse interests. Prior to his illness, he served as a Lector and Eucharistic minister at church. Due to COVID restrictions, a small, private CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE will be held at a later date. If you so choose, please honor his memory by making a contribution to St. Vincent College (https://ssl.charityweb.net/stvincent/), the University of Pittsburgh Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (www.adrc.pitt.edu) or K9's For Warriors (https://secure2.convio.net/k9sfw/site/Donation2?df_id=2680&mfc_pref=T&2680.donation=form1).
