It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce that Rashad Lamar Delaney, 31, has transitioned from mortality to immortality. A Colleton County, SC, native, he grew up in the Roadside community of Yemassee. Rashad was the son of Angela Delaney and Thomas Washington, Jr., of Burton, SC. He was the grandson of Deacon Willie Delaney, the late Blossom Delaney, the late Thomas Washington, Sr. and the late Marie Washington.

An endearing father, a cherished son, grandson and brother, he joined that innumerable caravan which moves to that mysterious realm. The eternity of his love reaches beyond time.

Visitation: Sunday, February 7th, 5-7 pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: Monday, February 8th, 12 noon in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, 22 Jonesville Ave., Yemassee, SC.

SUBSEQUENT TO COVID -19 PANDEMIC, ALL SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CDC HEALTH GUIDELINES, FACIAL MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING.
