Obituary For Patricia Meadows

John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

Mrs. Patricia Ann Howard Meadows went home to be with the Lord on February 3, 2021 at the age of 74 years young.

Patricia was born to Mr. Eddie James Howard Sr. and Mrs. Sadie Virginia Mae Chavis Howard in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife, mother, friend to all, Patricia loved to spend time with her family and the Lord. She only grew stronger in her love for the Lord and became an Evangelist who always was available to share with anyone her time and spirit. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Dennis Meadows; 1 daughter, Ms. Scherita Annette Silver; 2 brothers, Mr. Eddie James Howard Jr. and Mr. Michael Bernard Howard and 3 sisters, Mrs. Theresa Abrona Howard Chandra, Mrs. Cynthia Michelle Jefferson and Katherine Loretta Howard.

"Suga" as Patricia was so fondly called leaves behind to carry on her strength and love for the Lord 5 beautiful children: Mr. George Wesley Silver Jr., Ms. Tonja Denise Silver, Ms. Rhonda Marlene Silver, Mr. William Edward Silver and Mr. Joseph Lamont Silver.;1 brother; Mr. James LaRay Howard of Greensboro, North Carolina; 1 sister, Ms. Edwina Denise Howard Bell of Greensboro, North Carolina; and 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

A public viewing will be held Friday, February 19, 2021, from 11 AM-1 PM in the Cassie Coote-Brown Chapel of Perry J. Brown Funeral Home. A private Chapel Service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home.
