Funeral services for Gabriel Deshawn Brisbon, 22, of 100 Castlewood Drive Apt-2, Winnsboro, SC formerly of Allendale, SC were held 1:00 pm Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Heaven”s Light Ministries in Winnsboro, SC with Pastor Jim Reese officiating.

A graveside service was held at Ida Thompson Memorial Garden Fairfax, S.C. 2:00 pm Sunday, February 14, 2021 with Pastor Joe Mole III officiating.

Mr. Gabriel Deshawn Brisbon was born on November 30, 1998 in Beaufort, South Carolina to Erica Williams Brisbon and Dale Brisbon. Gabriel was educated in Allendale County Schools. He later moved to Winnsboro, South Carolina and graduated from Fairfield Central High School class of 2017. He attended Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina where he studied Criminal Justice.

Gabriel enjoyed singing and was an active member of Heaven’s Light Ministries; under the direction of Pastor Jim Reese. He was a gifted part of the church Praise Team and he had an aspiration of becoming famous in the music industry.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he would always light up the room with this presence. He was his family’s “Gentle Giant” and would often keep everyone laughing.

On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, he entered into eternal rest in Winnsboro, South Carolina.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Diane Parker; grandfather, Dallas Brisbon and great grandmother, Dorothy Williams.

Gabriel leaves to cherish his fond memories, his mother, Erica Williams Brisbon of Winnsboro, SC; father, Dale (Bellamy) Brisbon of Hartsville, SC; two sisters: Chaquanta Williams and Brittany Brisbon all of Winnsboro, SC; a brother, Christopher (Sheneki) Jamison of Columbia, SC; and Dallison Brisbon of Harstsville, SC. paternal grandmother, Monzell Brisbon of Allendale,SC; maternal grandfather, George (Charlene) Frazier of Beaufort, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and caring friends.
