Obituary For Mrs. Mary Louise Jackson Scott

In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Scott. Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, February 9, 2021 3:00 pm at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel. Viewing will be held before service on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 12 noon-3:00pm . Interment will be in Cuthbert, GA Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Grissom-Clark Funeral Home 404-373-3191. Mrs. Mary Louise Jackson Scott was born in Randolph County to the late Mr. Harrison Scott and the late Henrietta Scott. Mary was the last of fourteen children that was born to that union. Mary departed this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2021 at the Christian City Nursing Home in Union City, Georgia. Mary attended school in Randolph County; graduating from Randolph County Training School in Cuthbert, Georgia. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia and continued her education. Mary was a Registered Nurse and worked at St. Joseph Hospital for many years. She then moved backed to Cuthbert, Georgia to assist her sister with taking care of their mother and father. Mary moved back to Atlanta and lived a happy life till her health started to fail. She then transition into Christian City Nursing Home in Union City, Georgia. Mary leaves to cherish her only son, Ricardo Sabastian Jackson who she loving called Ricky (Atlanta, GA); one brother, Robert (Queen) Burnett (Decatur, GA); two devoted nephews that took care of her, Sylvester (Loretta) Scott and Donald Parham both of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
