William Sonny Smith, Sr., 78, of New Bern died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

The family will have a service at a later date.

He is survived by his children, Deana Smith Sawyer, Raleigh, William Smith, Jr. and Kenneth Smith both of New York, NY, Keith Smith, New Bern and Katrina Deago, New Jersey; eight grandchildren.
