Obituary For Mr. Tom Ellison, lll

Mr. Tom “Tony” Ellison, lll entered into rest Monday, February 8, 2021 at his residence.

Tom Ellison III was born on September 25, 1967 in Augusta, Georgia to late Deloris Brown Adams and Tom “TJ” Ellison Sr. He spent his time as a child back and forth to the country (Sardis). He attended Glenn Hills High School. As a child at the age of 6, he was baptized at Cochran Grove Baptist Church in the creek down from the church. He was employed by Bull Dog Cranes until his retirement. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Carolyn Brinson in Sylvania, Georgia and no children were born to this union. Tom A.K.A Tony, Big Folks, and Biggum. He was known for telling jokes, his infectious laugh, being a big Las Vegas (Oakland) Raiders fan. He loved reading westerns, his bible (favorite scripture Psalms 23), listening to music, dancing, cooking (hogmawls, pigtails, chicken feet, etc.) grilling, going fishing, playing cash 3, scratching lotto tickets, sitting in his car, playing spades and dominoes. His famous words were, “On Everything I Love”, “Dammit Man”, “Crash”, and “Zoolulu” (his family call). He is preceded in death by his mother Deloris Brown Adams, father Tom Ellison Sr, his wife Carolyn Ellison, and his brother Tom Ellison Jr. Leaving to mourn, but cherish his memories, his son Isaiah Richardson, his Step-father Joseph (Big Papa) Adams, his sisters, Angela (Roy) Price, Tina Brown Cobb, all of Augusta, GA Wanda (Arkeem) Fobb, of Hephzibah, GA, Tareka Ellison of Waynesboro, GA, Monique Ellison, of Augusta, GA, Shunta (Andrew) Wright, of Keysville, GA, Shantell (Sylvester) Lamb of Augusta, GA, step-sister Deadra Adams of Baltimore, Maryland, his brother Joseph (Veronica) Adams, of Hephzibah, GA, god-sisters Lisa Martin of North Augusta, SC and Catina Gresham of Atlanta, GA, Fourteen nieces, Fourteen nephews, Three great nieces, and Three great nephews, Nine Aunts and Seven uncles, Two great uncles, his Hospice Nurse Lee Triaga, Caregivers Gaquetta Price, Tinesha Cooper, Special friend Christine Dye, and a host of loving cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, February 19, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 12:00 noon at old One In Christ Baptist Church Formally known as Cochran Grove, 10345 River Road Girard, Georgia 30426.
