Edward Lee McEntyre of Forest City, NC was born June 23, 1959 to James and Ruth McEntyre. He departed this life on February 2, 2021 in his home. At the time of his death Edward worked for Polk County Schools. Previously he was a Certified Welder for many years. He loved his family. He enjoyed working with his hands building things and playing his bass guitar. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; James and Ruth McEntyre, two sisters, Cynthia McEntyre Mills and Annie Ruth McEntyre Miller. Edward leaves to cherish his fond memories; two daughters, Tanisha Miller of Forest City, NC and Ebony Cunningham of Boiling Springs, SC, four grandchildren, Keiara, Issaiah, Amauri and Emileigh, two sisters, Edith Simpson of Tryon, NC and Arbutus Hines (Dennis) of Green Creek, NC, six brothers, James Jr. McEntyre (Cindy), Jimmy Dean McEntyre, Chucky McEntyre (Rhetta), Scottie, Greg, and Vincent and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
