Obituary For Mrs. Laura L. Eatman

Evangelist Laura Eatman was born, to the late Addison and Edna Leverette, on December 27, 1943 in Stateline, Mississippi. She departed this life on February 8, 2021 at Singing River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Moss Point, Mississippi.

Evangelist Laura Eatman accepted Jesus in her life at an early age. Sister Eatman was one of the first members of the Restoration and Revival Center COGIC, as they started out having services in her home and she was a devoted and dedicated member. She was a faithful member in the local, district, and jurisdictional choirs, a Sunday School teacher, member of the Mother's board, Kitchen Committee, Usher Board, and Sick and Shut-in Committee. She was also a mighty prayer warrior.

Evangelist Eatman was preceded in death by her parents, Addison and Edna Leverette; brothers, James Taylor and Charles Welch; sister, Krisie Taylor; brother-in-law, George Packer; and sister-in-law, Mary Welch.

Evangelist Laura Eatman leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband, Dock Matthew Eatman, Jr. of Moss Point, MS; sons, Pedro (Quanita) Eatman of Gautier, MS, Micheal (Sherry) Eatman of Pascagoula, MS and Antonio (Arcenia) Eatman of Elizabeth City; NC; daughter; Shawanda Renee Eatman of Gulfport, MS; step-daughter, Lela Glenn Richardson of Gardena, CA; fourteen grandchildren, two devoted, Kiara (Tervares) Franklin and Deshawn Kinnard, eleven great-grandchildren, devoted siblings, Bobby Leverette, Rosie (Jeffery) Richardson, Addison (Cassandra) Leverette, Mary Leverette, and Juanita Packer; brother-in-law, Gifford (Henerittia) Eatman; sister-in-law, Savannah Atterberry; goddaughter, LaSonya Gray-Hutchins; devoted best friend, Mrs. Louise Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside service will be at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Machpelah Cemetery; Machpelah Road, Pascagoula, MS.
