Guest Book

I am truly sad to read that Mrs. Austin has passed. Pam and Kim, you have my deepest, heartfelt sympathy. Your mother was such a sweet and thoughtful person. When she asked me if I would be willing to let my daughter, Stacy, participate in her organization, Sisters United of Richmond, VA Miss Unity Pageant in 1995, I was thrilled to accept and it was an amazing opportunity and experience for Stacy. You have a wonderful mother and heaven is receiving a blessed woman in Christ. Peace, Debra Moore and family.

Ms. Maude was a neighbor and friend to my Aunt Barbie. When Aunt Barbie (Barbara Jean Thompson) was at the bitter end of her battle with cancer, Ms. Maude would check on her daily. Selflessly she would offer to do anything that Aunt Barbie needed around the house and often brought her food or picked up groceries for her. God rest Ms. Maude's soul. She is definitely an angel now smiling down. Our sincere condolences to the family. Christol Powell (along with Olivia Powell, sister to Barbara Jean Thompson/Aunt Barbie) - Waldorf, MD
