Dorothy Virginia Laws-Young 67, of Austell, Georgia was born November 8, 1949 in New York City. God called her home on March 6, 2017. The family of Mrs. Laws-Young will welcome guest for her viewing on Saturday, March 18, 2017 for 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Her funeral service will also be Saturday March 18, 2017 for 1:00 PM in the funeral homes chapel, 4405 Marietta Street, Powder Springs, GA 30127. Respast will follow the service in the funeral homes banquet hall.

I remember staying with my Aunt Dorothy and Aunt Marlo in New York and having a lot of fun with them when I was little. Dorothy would take us to a scary movie and make everyone in the theater more scared than normal because she would start screaming at the screen. I wil miss not being able to pick up the phone and call her to see how she is doing..........May she RIP........Debbie Robinson-Gedeon
