Joseph Kelly, Sr. departed this life, February 8, 2021 at Augusta University Hospital. He was born May 27, 1949 to the parentage of Ed Willie Kelly, Sr. and Phabie Gibbons Kelly. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., at Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church, with mask and social distancing.

Mr. Kelly was a retired machine operator from Thermo King. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bernice Kelly; sons, Joseph, Jr. and Leroy; sisters, Lela Kelly Gibbons and Josephine Kelly.

To cherish his memories, Joseph leaves his children, Eric (Keiko) Brady, Texas, Courtney Jackson, Augusta, GA, Ka’Tarus Hill, Wadley, GA, and Rochester Burton, Tampa, FL; sister, Essie Kelly, Louisville, GA; brothers, Ed Willie Kelly, Jr. Louisville, GA, Tom Kelly, St. Petersburg, FL, Don Kelly, St. Petersburg, FL; step children, Larry (Vonetta) Sherrod, Mary (Herman) Yancey, Sherry Lynch, Terry (Linda) Lynch, and Ezell Lynch, 9 grandchildren, 20, step grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
