Midway - Eddie Louis Smith, 72, transitioned from Life to Reward Friday, February 5, 2021 at RiverChase Rehab Center.

Graveside service will be 1 P.M., Saturday, February 13th, 2021 at Midway Community Cemetery (St. John Community Cemetery). Viewing /Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2021 from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Howard Smith; one son, Edwon B. Smith (Sheree); one Daughter, Tess Smith Holcombe (Anthony); one stepson, Larry Fasion (Brittany); 4 grandchildren, one great grandchild; four sisters, Carrie Smith, Irene Lawson, Willie Mae Long and Ollie Mae Albert; one brother, George Smith (Delores); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
