A life well lived and she was a wonderful person. I first met her in Durham Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta and we worked on some of the same committees. Passionate and professional! Rest in peace! Sisterly, Cynthia Traynham

I first met Ms.Strayhorne back in 1968 after moving to Durham and when we obtained our mortgage for our home from Mutual Community Savings and Loan Bank. We remained friends throughout her life. I found her to be a very pleasant and also an engaging business like person to work with. Please accept our very sincere condolences. William V."Bill" and Judith Bell
