John Alan Smith

Knoxville - John Alan Smith, of Knoxville, was born on February 28, 1964 to the late Margaret Louise Smith Parks and John Marshall Parks. Mr. Smith departed this life on February 5, 2021 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Devoted and Loving Sister Marsha Parks, Scott Smith, Wanda Smith, David Earl (Terry) Smith, Darrell "Glen" (Von) Smith, James (Rosanne) Smith, Hubert Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Smith will lie-in-repose on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 12:00p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 11:a.m.-12:00 p.m with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00 Noon at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Pastor James Fine officiating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family respectively asks that masks be worn and social distancing be practiced. Unity Mortuary is honored to serve the Smith and Parks families.
