Obituary For Mr. Mckinley Wheeler

Our beloved McKinley Wheeler Jr. better known as “Junie Boy” made his transition to his new home on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Capital Health Medical Hopewell in Pennington, New Jersey. I can hear him saying “I’m going where the wicked can cease from troubling, and the weary shall be at rest. All the Saints and the Elders shall sit at his feet and be blessed.” McKinley was the oldest son of the late McKinley and Sadie Bishop Wheeler. He was born on August 1, 1945 in Darlington County, South Carolina. He grew up in a Christian, singing, loving, and hard working home with his parents and siblings. McKinley loved singing and could sing. Because his parents were God fearing, he grew up in church. He was a member of the New Hopewell Baptist Church in Darlington County, South Carolina. He attended the area High School. He worked various jobs from the farm to hospital orderly, private duty, and the local Cotton Mill.

McKinley was preceded in death along with his parents; his siblings: Annie Lee Wheeler, Alma McCall, Bennie Wheeler, and Isaac Wheeler; his children: Pamela Milkov and Tyrone Wheeler; two brothers-n-law: Willie Lee Mace and Raymond Mace; one sister-n-law: Christine Mace.

Those surviving to cherish McKinley’s loss ~ his wife: Cora Bell Wheeler; three grandchildren: Elise Wheeler, Khiry Wheeler, Garrick Wheeler; three great grandchildren: Ja’Kyia, Saniyah, Caliyah Wheeler; son-n-law: George Milkov; one aunt: Myrtle Bishop of Philadelphia, PA; sisters-n-law: Rose Harris Wheeler of Bishopville, SC and Bessie Mae Crawford Wheeler of Chesterfield, SC and Albertha Clark, Clara Marshall, Debra {Maston} McCollum; one brother-n-law: Carnell {Gloria} Mace; one special cousin: Tommie {Edward} Davis of Hartsville, SC and a host of loving cousins, other relatives and friends.
