Obituary For Mr. James Worley

James Darren Worley was born on September 8, 1966 to the late Edmonia and William “Jim” Worley Sr. at Lincoln Hospital in Bronx, New York. James departed this life on Saturday, February 13, 2021 in Lake View, South Carolina.

He graduated from Lake View High School in the Class of 1984 in Lake View, South Carolina. After graduating high school, James served in the United States Army from 1984-1987. He later married Gracie Owens in September 2000.

James loved his family and was full of life. He brought laughter to anyone he was around and can be remembered by many for his sense of humor, personality and smile. He was also a Dallas Cowboys fan.

James was preceded in death along with his mother and father; two brothers: Joe Nathan Mack and William Worley Jr.

James leaves to cherish his loving memories ~ his wife: Gracie Owens; a daughter: Stacy Johnson of Fayetteville, NC; two sons: Christopher {Courtney} Paige of Marietta, NC and D’Angelo Gilbert of Mullins, SC; four grandchildren: Tyrik Johnson Lilly, Chloe, Christopher and Callie Paige; six sisters: Joyce {Timothy} Green of Lake View, SC, Katie Hicks of Bronx, NY, Donna McClary Mullins of Lake View, SC, Veronica Worley of Bushkill, PA, Tabitha Williams of Florence, SC, Priscilla Worley of Dillon, SC; five aunts: Virginia {Conway} Henry of Mullins, SC, Anna Cooper of Lake View, SC, Mattie Johnson of Washington, DC, Roberta {Stafford} Rogers of Lake View, SC, Minnie {Marvin} Page of South Carolina; three uncles: Samuel Mack of Lake View, SC, Elbert Mack and Clayton Mack both of Maryland, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly and will always cherish the times spent with him.
