I am grateful to God for having allowed me to share in so many precious moments with the Vaughns family by way of my friendship with Rose (a.k.a. Posse.) To me, Pastor Michael Vaughns was exceptional. The way in which he represented Christ was clearly demonstrated by the care, thoughtfulness, and love he had for his family. He was constant. His day to day steadiness became a rock to his family and to those of us who were fortunate to be a part. To the family, my heart is with you & may the God of our salvation keep your hearts and guide your thoughts in ways of peace, comfort and strength. Love Posse & family.

I am so thankful for the time I had Rev. Vaughns as a friend and partner and mentor in the Children's Church Ministry. You could not help but feel his kindness and gentle spirit and you could just feel the love he had for his family. I will miss our talks, he was so encouraging and supportive of my ventures and my boys, no matter what the situation. I will always miss him. I love the Vaughns with all my heart and I will continue to keep them in prayer and be there for them. - Audrey

Rev. Vaughns' sweet spirit will definitely be missed. He is the ONLY native Californian I have met that was MORE southern than me! There is no parent especially a dad that has ever left their kids in my care with such a DETAILED report. In fact I thought I was a nurse getting a shift report because he told me last feeding, last diaper change, last medicine, last bath, and showed me where things were in the diaper bag. Oh, I forgot begged to be call if the kids asked for him or cried too long! He was THOROUGH when it came to his KIDS. I will miss seeing him TRYING not to let the kids WRAP him around their finger. Perhaps he knew his time with them would be short but I think he was just a SOFTEE! Praying for Gods comfort to envelope you during your times of missing him--Timika S.
