Olevia Charlotte Clark, affectionately known as “Dollbaby”, age 63, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2021. She was a devoted member of The Church of God Tabernacle True Holiness.
Olevia was born November 29, 1957 in Hayti, Missouri to Clarence and Charlotte Lane. Olevia met her late husband Roy in the winter of ‘79. They courted for several years and eventually married on May 1, 1982. Their love endured 38 years, and now they are reunited again.
Olevia worked for the Palm Beach County School District as a highly-respected bus driver until her retirement in the early 2000s. She also was a hairdresser allowing her to meet many friends and care for several family members along the way. Olevia was not simply an auntie to most but more of a mother to many. Because of this giving nature amongst many other loving characteristics, she will be truly missed by all who were in her life.
Olevia is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Roy Clark; her father, Clarence Lane, and her mother Charlotte Lane. She is survived by her daughter Nasia Clark-Williams (Donald), of Wesley Chapel, FL; four grandchildren: Briona Inman (Belle Glade, FL), Donald Jr. and Laila Williams (Wesley Chapel, FL); and Evelyn Williams of Orlando, FL; a great-granddaughter, Naomi Clark of Belle Glade, FL; four brothers: Willie James White of Memphis, TN; Clarence Lane (Marilyn) of Boynton Beach, FL; Robert Lane (Connie) of Hayti, MO; and Samuel Ogrman of Dyersburg, TN; four sisters: Barbara Arnett (Eddie) of Belle Glade, FL; Rosie Taylor of Cape Gideau, MO; Mertis Oliver (Jesse) of Racine, WI; and Margaret Yarbrough of Las Vegas, NV; her godmother, Sister Essie of Miami, FL.; a goddaughter, Alatris Moreland; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
