The Rutledge, Mobley and Young Family via the words of this song "May the work I've done speak for Me, May the work I've done and now that I'm resting in my grave, There's nothing more to be said; May work I've done speak for me." Maddox's, Washington's , Dixon and Campbell's family our heavenly Father saw the hills were to hard to climb and road was rough and He summon Momma Elzine to that perfect peace that surpasses all of understanding. To the family of Evangelist Elzine my name is Elaine Foster and my oldest brother MacAuthur Hairston introduced me to Sister Elzine over the telephone but she knew him for many years when he was in the air force he use to play the piano for a group she sang in we talked a lot on the phone about how she loved to sing and her affection for my brother she called him Hairston.I know he loved her very much I felt that same love just talking to her on the phone she had such a sweet spirit she always talked about the goodness of the Lord.We will miss hearing her voice but rejoice that she has fought the good fight she has finished the race she has kept the faith now there is in store for her the crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge will award her on that day. With Love The Hairston Family Martinsville,Virginia
