John Scott Butler, 80, husband of Lydia Ham Butler, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his residence, 14275 Hwy 301, New Zion, SC. He was born September 15, 1940 in New Zion, SC, a son of the late John Wesley Butler and Charlotte Gause Butler.

Graveside services for Mr. Butler will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Howard Chapel AME Church Cemetery, 6338 Old Manning Road, New Zion, SC. Rev. Robert E. Galloway, Officiating.

The family is receiving friends at the residence.
