Ms. Celeste, my heart goes out to you and all of yall children. He truly loved each and everyone of you. To Rafes' baby brother he thought you were a genius, I've heard so much about you,(sorry I can't rememberyour name). Mr. Ralph, Mrs.Hazel & your husband you have our deepest condolences as well. I had the pleasure of working with Mr.Rafe every weekend for almost 2 years. I found it a great privilege as well as a great pleasure working with him. He reminded me so much of my deceased father. He was was always willing to listen as well as give both myself and my daughter advice. He treated us both as if we were family. He taught me alot in the kitchen as how to prepare different meals. He was our chauffeur on the weekends as Celeste, he and myself often took the consumers out riding. He will definitely be missed by many. Although he said when he die, the world didn't owe him anything. He lived a very good life, as his parents saw to this at an early age. We are in a great disbelief that hes actually gone to be with the Lord. He will be missed by many. We loved him, but God loved him best.

Hazel (Mary), You are certainly in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for introducing me to Rafe as he was preparing to return home to the Jonesville community and continue his career in supporting persons in need. You blessed the Jasper County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs by sending him our way. He was just what we needed! His spirit will live with us forever. I am praying for your peace and understanding. Tonya R. Williams

On behalf of the employees and clients of Jasper County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs, Ridgeland, SC, we send our sincere condolences to the entire family of Mr. Rafe Chisolm, Jr. We are all in disbelief. Rafe has been a vital part of our residential department for almost three years. In this short time, he brought a sense of calmness to our team and everyone he met at the agency. Rafe was one of the few men working in our agency and the employees spoiled him and he enjoyed every moment of it. We were all praying for his healing and anticipating his return. While he will not return to grace us with his calm spirit, God's will has certainly healed him. His presence will certainly be missed but his spirit will live on. Celeste, it is not often we have a husband and wife working alongside each other on our team. We certainly enjoyed the laughter and the love the two of you displayed. it was a pleasure having you both work at the agency. Please know we are here for you and will continue to pray God's strength upon you during this time and the days ahead. Tonya R. Williams, Residential Director
