Claudette, My heart pains for you for the loss of your brother, Melvin. I have known Melvin all of my life. As you know, we all grew up together. Your mother and my oldest sister were best friends; we attended elementary, junior and senior high school together. Although I'm a few years older, Melvin and I attended and graduated from Livingston College. Claudette, I pray that God's prayerful hands and loving arms wrap you with his love and give you comfort and peace now and in the days to come. Please know that you will always be in my prayers, and I will always be here for you. With deepest sympathy - Jaqueline Bobo, Beltsville, MD

I considered Melvin to be a good friend, kind-hearted and very compassionate. I will always remember the courtesy he extended to me and my family several years ago during our visit to Washington, DC.
