James "Po Tom" Franklin Edwards, 68, of New Bern died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his residence.

Viewing hours are 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday at Oscar's Mortuary.

His service is 10:00 AM, Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the Historic Meadows Cemetery. The service may be viewed on Oscar's Facebook Page.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Heidelberg Edwards of the home; one son, Antony Edwards of Raleigh, NC; three sisters, Hattie Edwards, New Bern, NC, Janet Edwards, Fayetteville, NC and Anna Edwards of Raleigh, NC; a host of grandchildren.
