Obituary For Dorothy A. Carter

Dorothy A. Carter,72, of Havelock died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her residence.

There will not be a public viewing at the funeral home.

Her service is 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 on Piney Grove AMEZ Church Grounds 1430 Temples Point Rd., Havelock followed by the interment at Piney Grove Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Carter; brother, Thurman Carter; sisters, Alice George and Catherine Kearney, Mary Ann Harvey, Julia Kearney, Rosa Carter, Felicia Dailey and Madeline Gaskill all of Havelock; three grandchildren.

Masks are required. Covid Regulations will be enforced. Chairs are limited, please bring a chair.

Our deepest condolences goes out to the Carter "s family it was very sad to hear the passing away of Ms. Dorothy (Dorsey) Allen Carter . Dorsey was really active in church and loving her community, She really enjoyed life spending time with her sisters grandkids and nieces and nephews . Before sickness had taken over she really enjoyed cooking and spending a lots of time gardening with her nephew Jesse (junior) Kearney she really will be miss by many ones, let's continue to keep her daughter Sherry Carter and grandkids in our prayers!
