Obituary For M. C. Cato

Mr. M. C. Cato, 99, of New Hebron, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Lawrence County Hospital, Monticello, Mississippi.

He is the son of the late Whittie and Leundra Cato. He was a member of North Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as Adult Men Sunday School Teacher and Deacon. Mr. Cato served in the U. S. Army.

Mr. Cato was a retired Farmer who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, February 20, 2021 at North Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, New Hebron, Mississippi at 2pm.

He is survived by: sons, Grover Cato and Darius Cato both of New Hebron, MS; McKinney Cato of Byram, MS; daughter, Mary Stewart of Silver Creek, MS; sisters, Cora Gholar of Altadena, CA and Ora Rogers of San Diego, CA; grandchildren: 10

Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-6pm; family hour: 6-7pm.
