Obituary For Patricia Lewis

The Governor of South Carolina advises to limit public gatherings to 50 guests or less to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC carefully considered this recommendation and ask that additional guest please participate via live-streaming if it is authorized by the family.

Funeral Service for Miss Patricia Ann Lewis will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Smith Field, South Johns Street, Florence, South Carolina, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC.

Miss Patricia Ann Lewis was born to the late Luke and Elizabeth Lewis on October 11, 1957. She transitioned at McLeod Hospice House on February 17, 2021.

Patricia was a graduate of Trenton High School in New Jersey.

After relocating to Columbia, South Carolina, where she was affectionately loved by her many friends and coworkers, Patricia gained employment with Victor Group at Fort Jackson Military Base in Columbia, South Carolina.

Patricia was a member of American Legion Auxiliaries in Columbia, South Carolina.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Luke Lewis; her mother, Elizabeth Lewis; stepmother, Peggy Lewis; and a sister, Alicia Lewis Isaiah.

Patricia is survived by her beloved daughter, Chiquita Lewis of Florence, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Brandon Johnson (Erica), K’Shawn A. Lewis, Darius Hunt, Emeryana Hunt all of Florence, South Carolina, and Bianca P. Lewis of Charlotte, North Carolina; five great grandchildren, Camari, Ava, Aiden, Ezekiel, and Dakota; three brothers, Luke Levi Lewis, Jr., Derrick L. Lewis both of Florence, South Carolina, and Anthony R. Lewis of Durham, North Carolina; two sisters, JaCinta Lewis of Florence, South Carolina and Debra Walters of Columbia, South Carolina; two special aunts, Doris McAllister of Florence, South Carolina and Miriam Alexander of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her best friend, Myra G. Thomas; a sister-in-law/love, Apostle Charlena Best; and a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Public Viewing will be held 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at J. O. & Annette Smith Memorial Chapel, 307 South Johns Street, Florence, South Carolina
