To my beautiful family, Carolyn had that contagious smile just like the one on the picture here. It's so ironic, she is wearing blue, that was our favorite color. We decided this when we were young girls. On every visit, we would always talk about what we wanted to be when we grew up. Carolyn always wanted to be a nurse and I wanted to do anything that would get me off a sharecroppers farm. I just knew I wanted to do something exciting and fun. By the time I was an adult my career choice had changed. However, I remembered her telling me that whatever I did to make sure I enjoyed it and earned lots of money. She was a breath of fresh air and sunshine that would light up a room anytime in and out of season. With no more troubles of this worlld, I am sure she added more light to heaven. My prayers today is to live so that I will one day see her again. Family her journey is ovRer, she fought a good fight, she kept the faith and finished her course. Love and blessings to you all. Rev. Dorothy Moore

Terrell, my sister, not only were you a Terrell but you were also an adopted Giles. You were our sister. You were part of the Giles family and we were part of your family. I remember when we first met at Community Hospital, we both had failed to pass the State Board of Nursing Exam. It was God's divine intervention that I came to work and at community and met you. That was the start of our bond and sisterhood, as we studied together and passed. We were Registered Nurses. We said we pass the exam, we would not have another problem in the world, however, little did we know it just beginning. We had fun, cried together, and prayed together. r We had so many good times together. We went to Belk and stayed in the mink coat department for 6 hours. Yes, we purchased our mink coats. Ms. "T" as some call Terrell - had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. I remember when we went to Sears at Carolina Mall and we purchased Bell South speaker phone, We would stay on the phone till 2-3 am and then get up and go to work. We got our use from those phones and they are still working – we have never changed the batteries. You were the best maid of honor at my wedding. I can go on and on about my best friend Terrell, my sister. To Wayne, her brother, she always talked about you from the time I met her. When I met you at the family reunion, she was right. Thanks for being there for her in the needed times. May God give you strength and comfort. Job well done. To the rest of the family, I pray that God will be a comforter to you. Terrell was as strong black women. Dear Lord, We are so grateful that you have made us all in your own image, giving us gifts and talents with which to serve you. Thank you for (Carolyn Terrell's ) life as a nurse, sister, friend, aunt, cousin and all the years we shared with Carolyn. We lift Terrell today, in honor of the good we saw in Terrell and the good Terrell gave and the love we felt from Terrell. Terrell – Ms. T - Know that you will always be in my heart and I will cherish all the memories. I love you Terrell- Ms. T. This is Giles- until we meet in heaven! Ruthie Giles

I'm so sorry for your loss. Praying the God of all comfort helps you at this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus told us to pray for God's Kingdom because the Bible promises it will do away with death. (Revelation 21:4,5 & Daniel 2:44). Mary
