Todd Mathew Walker, 44, passed away in Atlanta, GA in the arms of his loving wife and best friend, Kelly, on Monday, February 15, 2021. Todd was born on November 29, 1976 to Matthew and Virginia Walker in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Todd is survived by: his wife of 17 years, Kelly Walker; his eldest son of 15 years, Morgan Walker; his middle son of 12 years, Townsend Walker; and his youngest son of 11 years, Tristan Walker. Todd is also survived by: his father, Mathew Walker; his brothers, Glen Walker Trowbridge (husband Billy Vaughn); Dean Walker (fiancé Nina Redmond); Scott Walker (wife Kim Walker); and his sister, Jennifer Young (husband Kyle Young). He is preceded in death by his mother Virginia Atwood Walker.

As a child, Todd moved to Georgia from New Jersey. He graduated from Lassiter High School and attended Kennesaw State University. Todd took his gap year to pursue his love of music, exploring spirituality, visiting family, traveling to California and being one with nature.

Todd and Kelly’s first date began at the “Taste of Marietta Festival” on the Historic Square in Marietta, Georgia. This became a date that never ended. This first date, their friendship and enduring love will continue forever.

Todd and Kelly moved to New York City in March of 2003 and later wed in 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kelly and Todd began their family in 2005. They continued growing their family in 2008 and 2009 to complete the Walker family with three beautiful sons.

Todd began his career in 1995 and pursued his printing expertise until 2018. Two years ago, he transitioned back to his original love of music and began working along side Eric “Ricky” McKinnie and many members of “The Blind Boys of Alabama”.

Todd, you brought so much laughter and joy to Warren Street. Your laugh could be heard all the way down at my house. I loved getting to know your whole family as we walked down the street every day, waving hello. You had this amazing sarcasm and wit that was very endearing and natural. Rien says hello to you every time we walk by, no matter if you were outside or not. You are an incredibly loving father, and it was also so evident that after so many years, you were still crazy about Kelly. You are missed by so many of us. Thank you for being here when you were - our lives are all the better having known you.

Our sincere thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this difficult time. It was always great to see Todd and his beautiful family at school soccer games. As far as I remembered he was always there for his son, however busy his day could have been. We will miss his smile. Nobuko, Shawn and Soma Hall

I first met Kelly when Tristan and Patricia were in the Green Frogs class together. I met Todd years later when I needed help with graphics for a school fundraiser. I didn't know Todd and Todd didn't know me but he helped without hesitation, and out up with MULTIPLE changes from me without complaint. From listening to all of the Todd Walker stories today at his service, I now know that this was typical Todd, a caring giving man who was willing to help and loved his family dearly. Kelly please reach out anytime you need something or just want someone to talk to or just to be there. Lisa Cox

I Don't know what to say ! well here goes my condolences to Kelly, and the family, I remember Todd impersonating bevis and but head, he was so good at doing those voices. Todd you were an artist for sure, and then he asked me if I wanted to sell him my car amplifier, out of my Camaro, as we stood in front of my drums downstairs,I had no idea he was a musician like me, I never got to see my cousin any more after that moment, I never got to know him.,from Alan his cousin .

I was deeply saddened to learn of Todd's recent passing. Todd is a cousin of mine who I didn't really know very well. However, we got to meet through Facebook. Todd had a great sense of humor; demonstrated his loving heart through his posts and comments and was a good man with good sense of morality and humanity. I know Todd will be missed deeply. I am thankful that I had an opportunity for Todd to grace me with his life. My deepest sympathy ox

Cousin Todd, sigh, I cannot believe you are really gone! Pinch me so I can wake up! Wow! I am going to miss you so very much my friend! Seems like just yesterday we were on your back deck, grilling chicken, laughing, joking, playing with the dogs! We didn't spend much time together as kids, but it sure has been wonderful being reunited and getting to know you over the last few years. It was so much fun spending time, visiting with you and your Family in Atlanta! You guys always made me feel so welcome, loved and at home! I could FEEL the LOVE in your home! It permeated throughout the house! Thanks so much Todd! You were there for me when I was in Georgia visiting my Mom! I appreciated your picking me up at the airport and dropping me back off so many times! My own personal chauffeur, you drove me all over GA! Then, waited patiently as I visited with my Mother! Great guy! You were always sharing an encouraging work of kindness! What a GOD SEND you were! Thanks for listening to me and lending your shoulder to cry on about my Mom! What a guy! Offering up your vacant home for me to stay in when my Mother passed! You were so loving, kind, generous and selfless to me! I appreciated your friendship and I loved you like a Brother rather than a Cousin! Always jovial, donning a tie-dyed shirt, headphones and flip-flops! You made me smile, you made me laugh, you made me pee my pants! 🤣 Witty, sarcastic and easy to talk to! You will be sorely missed! 💕 Gardner and I send our condolences, our love, thoughts and prayers to Kelly, Morgan, Townsend & Tristen! To ALL OF OUR FAMILY! We love and miss you all so very much!

His love for Kelly, Morgan, Townsend, and Tristan was at the center of everything in his life. We'll miss our friend and neighbor and remember our humorous and heady porch and bonfire conversations, soccer musings, his witty FB posts, and his fireworks shows.

We send our love to Kelly and the boys. I will miss Todd for so many reasons. His sarcasm, loud laughter, constant devotion to his family, and great conversations. Social Media will not be the same. With a heavy heart, tie-dyed shirts, flip flops during winter, we will miss you. The DuVal Family
