Graveside service for Billy F. Durden 79, will be Wednesday, February 24, at 1 pm at the Hobson City Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carlton Phillips, officiating. Mr. Durden passed away on February 18, 2021. Mr. Durden retired from Super Value Warehouse after 29 years of service. He was a member of Rising Star United Methodist Church. Survivors include his companion: Mattie Anderson; daughters: Chrisindra (Micheal) Alvarez, Tanya (Maudo) Ndiaye, Tara Anderson; siblings: Robert Durden, Lee (Liz) Durden; grandchildren: Aliyah, Malik, Gavin, Seyna, Coura, and Lamine; 3 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Minnie Lee Durden, siblings, Geneva Lewis, Minnie Gay Mosley, and Felton Durden.
