I learned of the passing of this brother only AFTER yesterday's service and was shocked. Although our time spent was work and charity related, I remember him for being genuine and warm. Those qualities commanded a respect uncommon in today's world. He was truly a beacon and I will always remember him. My condolences and love to his family on the passing of a man I feel blessed to have known. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Lynden, my brother, my friend... You mean many things to many people when they reflect on their thoughts, but let me convey mine. The Navy does many things to many people, and because of it, God put you on my path. The man I know is like an older brother, thoughtful, compassionate, understanding, always smiling and joyful, and just a beautiful human spirit. There are not many I can say that about, but when I reflect on you, that is what I feel, not think, but heartfelt. As friends stand by your family in celebration of life, know it's with unity, strength, and unconditional appreciation for you. You have touched us, and we are better because of it. Continue to live well, my friend... Francis Frederick.
