Obituary For Onith Luke Davis

Onith Luke Davis, age 91, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at East Jefferson Medical Center. He was a native of Carpenter, Ms and a resident of Marrero, LA. Onith was a retired train operator of Intercostal Truck Line. Beloved husband of Claudia Davis, (Paige) Davis of McComb, MS, Kenneth (Cynthia) of Marrero, LA; Clara (Troy) Davis, Lucrsia (Willie) Coates all of Dallas, TX; Barry (Donna) Davis, Claudette (Joe) Oubre of Clarksville, TN; Bennie (Tawanda) Frazier of Saginaw, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, three sisters. Onith is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, sixteen, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatvies and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and all neighboring church are invivted to attend a viewing at Mt. Nebo Baptist, 1542 Pallett Avenue, Harvey, LA on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 20, 2021 at New Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Dentville Road, Carpenter, MS at 11:00 a.m.
