The Washington family has been a family friend for more than 50 years. I have enjoyed many delicious meals in their home. Working with Anna and Robin in the election precinct has been a pleasure. Our mornings would begin at 4:45 a.m.,with Robin to awaken us at 3:30 am. The ride home was enjoyable with thoughts of our waiting beds. My dear friend Anna will truly be missed. I wish for God's continued blessings on the Washington family. Gwendolyn Drayton

Anna Mae will be missed by all for years to come. I enjoyed the time I worked across the hall from Miss Anna for the time we were both at HSHS, because she always had a smile and a good word for her students and fellow teachers. Her caring and generous nature will long be remembered by many who passed through her classroom. Bill Buckner

Anna Washington was a soul dedicated to God. She was one of those persons had to say little to leave strong impression. She was faithful to St. Philip's Episcopal Church and highly active as a leader in many activities and organizations. It was her clarity of mind (forever the teacher) and love of people of all strips. Having known her for a few short years, I loved her greatly and know that she will share eternity in the presence of God. Condolences to the family.

Anna Mae Washington was a lovely but bless person. Anna was the only person, other than my Mother, could get around to more places, but did not drive. I loved taking her & Mrs Lewis around. She was a talker, but very knowledgeable. She loved St Phillip Episcopal Church & the Girl Scout Troop. Anna is now at peace with the Lord. The family has my deepest sympathy, because she will be missed. RIP πŸ™πŸ½βœοΈπŸ’™πŸ˜‡ Viesta Washington
