LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at The Hall, 407 E. Gloria Switch Rd., Lafayette, LA 70507, for Mrs. Viola “Boo” Chambers, 70, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Houston, TX. Interment will be in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Bolden, LA.

Rev. Kyle Sylvester, Pastor of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral services.

Grieving her memories in their hearts are: her husband of fifty-three years, James Chambers, Sr. of Lebeau, LA; two sons, James Chambers, Jr. (DEE) and Timothy Chambers, both of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Angel Malveaux, Janay Chambers and Courtney Chambers; three brothers, Andrew Fields (Lynette) of Gonzales, LA, Howard Fields, Sr. (Orelee) and Matthew (Gail)Fields, both of Houston, TX; one sister, Mary Ann (Baltiman) Malcolm of New Orleans, LA; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Fields and Zelma Fields; two Godchildren, Macy B. Malcolm and Jalen Jackson; and host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Vance and Bessie Fields; four brothers, Vance Fields Jr., Willie D. Fields, Landrus E. Fields Sr. and Lantic Fields; one sister, Shirley Robinson; two aunts and a host of family and friends.
