Obituary For Elinor Elworth Henderson

Elinor Elworth Henderson, of Mechanicsville, departed this life February 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Henderson, Jr., grandchildren, Derek and Donna Larker. Surviving are her children, Matia Larker and Mary Henderson of Maryland, Clarice Brown and Arvell Henderson of Mechanicsville; grandchildren, Thomas Henderson, III, DeSaune Rosier, Vanessa Henderson and Don Brown, Jr.; twelve great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where a walk-through viewing will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment First Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Mechanicsville. Aunt Moot was a beautiful person inside and out I truly enjoy her company she had a smile that light up the room I'm going to truly miss her everytime I would pass her house coming and going I would blow my horn.and call out her name I know my dad your nephew Dickie will truly miss you.so to the family I'm sending my condolences and prayers to you Rip.Aunt Moot

Aunt moot will truly be missed there was never a time that she would not offer one who visit her a full coarse meal. She is the person who made me understand the meaning of service!
