Obituary For Constance Dorelle Slaughter

Constance Dorelle Slaughter was born November 30, 1985 to the late Richard D. Robbins-Slaughter and Cornelius Marbury-Slaughter.

She attended Etowah Middle School and graduated from Litchfield High School in ‘2004.

Connie accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Dr. G.E. Robinson. Later she moved to Oak Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Charlie Parker.

On November 7, 2008, she gave birth to the love of her life, Isaac J. Slaughter.

On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, she was called home to be with her Heavenly Father.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Slaughter and both sets of grandparents.

Connie left behind great memories for her legacies: Her son, Isaac Slaughter of Fayetteville, NC; her mother, Cornelius Slaughter of Gadsden, AL; Brother, Brandon Marbury of Gadsden; Two sisters, Angelicia (James) Keen of Fayetteville, NC and Alexis Slaughter of Gadsden; Two nephews, Kenyon and Kayden Keen of Fayetteville, NC. Aunts, Yvonne Rames an Riggie Lord of Gitman, GA., Roni (Leroy) Turner, Jennifer Crowley, Brenda (Michael) Rice, all of Gadsden, AL, Olivia (Fred) Davis of Miami, FL Angie Cannon and Monica Teague of Sylacauga, AL and Carol Marbury of Birmingham, AL. God-Parents, Bronzell and Alexis Huntley of Bufford, GA; Uncles, Raymond Kelley of Gadsden, Jonathon Debardlabon of Minnesota and Willis (Carletta) Howard of Miami, FL. Special aunts, Daphyne (Pat) Powell, Danielle (Chris) Williams and Peangelicia (Neil) Dixon-Smith, all of Gadsden, AL. A host of cousins and other family members and friends.

Services will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Mission Baptist Church at 11:00 am. No public viewing.
