To Uncle Larry my condolences, Aunt Jene I know you're at peace now! I want to thank Aunt Jene for all the love she has given my family and I. And a quick Memory, I always wanted silk sheets as a child but that was a no go for my parents! Thankfully, Aunt Jene let me sleep on some (silk sheets) one visit and after that I have never slept on any other sheets unless I am at a hotel. Because of my bed sheets my oldest child has a silk scarf that he will not let go after 11 years. That all started from Aunt Jene allowing me to sleep in silk sheets, thank you! I have so many memories, thank you for coming up to Boston with my mom when I was relocated. You and Uncle Larry showed up to a lot of football games and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support! Love, Marques Murrell and the M3's

You know they say, it takes a village to raise a child. Well in Vincenza Italy 1977, my parents had introduced Aunt Gene to my brother and I. What a village we had. My love for sports was fueled by all the cooking and love received from you Aunt Gene. Thank you for all the love and feeding into my life. Rest well Auntie.

A friendship of 40 years. Genie was the best friend I could ever ask for. We shared so many fond memories together. From shopping trips for fabric to sewing to just sitting around and talking trash. I miss her so much already and will always miss her. I love you Genie and I pray you are at peace. Shirley Graham ~ Valdosta, GA
